Welcome to Pelivan Transit’s new website.

We hope you will find it user friendly and easy to navigate around to find important information regarding our rural transportation program.  Pelivan Transit is owned and operated by Grand Gateway Economic Development Association and we have been in operation since 1985.

Pelivan Transit and the Northeast Oklahoma Tribal Transit Consortium provides public transportation services to all people in the six counties of Craig, Delaware, Mayes, northern Tulsa, Ottawa,  and Rogers situated in northeastern Oklahoma.  There are also ten tribal jurisdictional areas within the Pelivan Transit service territory which Pelivan provides tribal transit services to:  Cherokee Nation, Eastern Shawnee, Miami, Modoc, Ottawa, Peoria, Quapaw, Seneca-Cayuga, Shawnee, and Wyandotte tribes of Oklahoma.

This integrated rural and tribal transit system provides demand response curb-to-curb, numerous deviated fixed employment routes interconnecting rural cities, and a trolley loop in Miami, Oklahoma.

We have grown from six vans to a diversified fleet of 66 vehicles that includes ADA equipped mini-vans with ramps and ADA shuttle buses with lifts.  Passenger capacity of these vehicles ranges from four to 38.

Our mission is to provide safe and reliable rural and tribal transit services to all people in the Pelivan Transit service territory.  We hope you enjoy learning about our transit services and we look forward to meeting you through our transit services offered by caring and professional drivers and staff.
